The School Wide Positive Behaviour Support is a program that is designed to assist students to make good choices using positive reinforcement. This is achieved through a reward system and the acknowledgement of the student’s success and the explicit teaching of the expected behaviours. 

At Kurunjang Primary School, positive student behaviour is acknowledged and rewarded as a whole school, as a class and as an individual learner.

‘The KPS Superheros’ were created by the students to provide visual representation of our values: Respect, Resilience, Responsibility, Effort, Excellence and Empathy. A school matrix of expected behaviours for each area of the school was then developed and explicitly taught to all students to ensure consistency throughout the school.
