Kurunjang Primary School has an important role in ensuring that students know how to use Information Communication Technologies (ICT) appropriately and safely to access, manage and evaluate information, develop new understandings, and communicate with others in order to participate effectively in society.
The ICT School Improvement Team is working to develop a whole-school curriculum where ICT becomes an integral part of lessons. Students will use iPads and netbooks as tools for thinking, reflecting, creating, recording and coding.
iPads are being used in all classrooms, by teachers and students alike, the senior school is also learning to research and publish on netbook PCs.
Safe behaviour online is of paramount importance. Our students learn how to interact with others online in moderated, safe environments. They learn to speak positively to each other, offer constructive feedback and to keep personal information secret.
